The Hut in the Woods

The Brothers Grimm, “Grimm’s Complete Fairytales.” Canterbury Classics, 2011. pp. 550-554.

The interior design for the hut includes elements taken directly from the text, such as: a table with four seats, a wood-burning stove, a plentiful kitchen, an upstairs area, two beds, linen sheets rolled up, and a hidden cellar door.

“...she went on and on, until the sun sank and night began to fall. The trees rustled in the darkness, the owls hooted, and she began to be afraid. Then in the distance she percieved a light which glimmered between the trees” (550)
